Buffets were all the rage in the ’80s and 90s, with establishments such as Taco Bell, Wendy’s, and McDonald’s all offering an all-you-can-eat buffet at crazy affordable prices. Families packed the fast food joints to eat to their fill; tables were filled with groups of people eating to the point of a coma while making casual conversation. It was a sight to behold! Buffets have died down, and it has become quite rare to find any left, but KFC has a few buffet outlets across the world, but they are few and far between, and you may have to scout for these locations, but it is well worth it!

What is offered under the usual KFC buffet?

The all-you-can-eat buffet comes with fried chicken, mashed potatoes, the famous gravy, and many more, depending on your location. The options will not disappoint; whether you are obsessed with fried chicken or want to fill up on the sides, there is something for everyone.

The hours for enjoying this delicious selection of fast food are typically from 11 AM to closing time, but at times it could end as early as 3 PM. The pricing is affordable for all the food you will be getting. It stands at an estimated 11$ per individual, but it may vary depending on your state. You may have to confirm with your local outlet.

KFC Buffet locations.

The United States.

In the U.S, the buffet locations are few, and most have closed down since the covid 19 pandemic. The open and functional pre-pandemic places were Banning, California, Bangor, Maine, Louisville, Kentucky, Lewisburg, Pennsylvania, Rensselaer, Indiana, and Cedar Hill, Texas.

The California location offered an all-you-can-eat offer at just 8.99$ per person; imagine that!

Most of these locations, however, are closed now due to the pandemic and regulations on health and safety. We are waiting for them to re-open with bated breath, but we may be waiting for a while.

Canada.

Canada has only one KFC buffet location left, and it is located in Weyburn. The restaurant was, ironically, the first KFC buffet location back when it was a competitive business. From over 20 locations across Canada, the number has drastically declined. The major challenge was ensuring the food remained delectable and that customers received the best service. This was not always easy, and several locations had to shut down.

This location had closed down during the pandemic but re-opened in April with a few modifications to ensure the health and safety of its customers. Customers must wash and sanitize their hands before handling any food and only use clean utensils.

Japan.

This location is in the new Minami Machida Grand berry Park shopping complex. This location could be packed because it is a rare sight. Their prices vary depending on the time of day and range from 18$ to 25 $ for an hour and a half session. They also have an all-you-can-drink selection for 11$ per person.

This outlet has a variety of several delicious meals, baked goods, and desserts to choose from. The menu consists of signature fried chicken, mashed potatoes, gravy, buttery croissants, garlic bread, seafood, rice, salad, and a range of fruity and creamy desserts. They also include a local specialty and several chicken options that the restaurant does not typically prepare.

Buffets were famous in the past, but many have shut down with time. We are lucky to have a few spots left that serve Kentucky Fried chicken. You may have to perform a little research to find the places in your exact location, but once you do, the experience is worthwhile. Nothing beats a combination of good food in plenty in a quiet environment, so you can enjoy it until you get a food coma because we only live once, right?

How many KFC outlets exist?

There are over 25,000 KFC locations worldwide. It is the second-largest fast-food restaurant chain, following McDonald’s.

How can you prepare for an all-you-can-eat buffet?

Simple, you must ensure you have enough room to enjoy your favorite meals. That means selecting locations that serve meals you want, dressing appropriately for the occasion, making sure you do not skip any meals during the day, and enjoying a buffet as the last meal.

What should you know before eating a buffet?

You must be cautious and do a little bit of research on the places you are considering eating at. Buffets tend to be laden with bacteria and viruses that can cause stomach flu or food poisoning.
