Of course, the big news isn’t just that a DLC character has already been announced for the popular brawler, but who that character is – and what series they’re from.

As it turns out, Nintendo is going all-in with this one and adding Joker from Persona 5 to the game’s roster.

Players won’t just be getting the character when they purchase the DLC, either. The pack – which will cost $5.99 – will also include music from Persona and a themed stage.

Note that all Super Smash Bros. Ultimate packs will cost the same amount, so if you’re planning on picking up most of the game’s DLC, it might be worth looking into the “Fighters Pass” which costs $24.99. You’ll get five packs and it will save you about $5.

No official date has been given on the Persona pack release, but considering it was announced tonight, it seems unlikely that it will take too long before players can purchase it.
